Euroarte Association proudly announces the launching of the project EuroArt Camp.
Funded by the European Commission through the Youth in Action Program, international EuroArt Camp is an art camp with focus on photo and video activities, taking place in Campina/ Romania, between 19-26 April 2010.
30 youngsters, 6 groups of 5 young photographers from Germany, Estonia, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic and Romania will have a week to put their talent, creativity and skills to the test and learn from each other.
Photo and video workshops, intercultural evenings, games, socialization and personal development, improvisational exercises, video projections, parties and other non-formal education methods are just some of the attractions of EuroArt Camp project.
Campina community was extremely interested in the international event that they will be hosting, and plans to become involved through participation in youth activities of local photography enthusiasts.
The project is coordinated by the Association Euroarte in partnership with other 7 major youth and cultural organizations from Europe. The project partners are:
- International Student Club at CTU in Prague, Czech Republic;
- European Intercultural Forum from Germany;
- Centro Social Universitario, Enfoque Nave and Catalunia Voluntaria from Spain;
- Dokuz Eylul University from Turkey;
- Estonian UNESCO Youth Association from Estonia;
- “Geo Bogza” House of Culture from Campina, Romania;
- Student’s House of Culture from Bucharest, Romania.
At the end of the art camp the results will be exhibited at the Cultural House Geo Bogza from Campina, in a photo exhibition with the most beautiful images taken during the 7 days by the young participants.
The exhibition will follow its itinerary in the first part of May at the Student's Culture House Bucharest; after that the exhibition will travel in May and June 2010 in the other 5 partner countries in the project.
